We dress women every day. This month, we also want to help take care of them.
Why we are taking part
Behind every order there is a mother, a sister, a friend, a colleague. Breast cancer affects around one woman in eight during her lifetime, so most of us know someone who has faced it.
This October, we want to take one simple, concrete action, and do it together with you.
Our commitment
For every order placed in October, Alvea donates €1 to the fight against breast cancer. No minimum spend, no conditions: every order counts.
We will share the total amount raised here in early November.
The simple habit that can change everything
The earlier breast cancer is detected, the better the chances of successful treatment. A self-check takes a few minutes, once a month, ideally just after your period.
Look
In front of a mirror, arms down and then raised: look at the shape, the skin and the nipples.
Feel
With your fingertips, in small circles, go around each breast up to the armpit.
See a doctor
A lump, redness, dimpled skin or any discharge: book an appointment without waiting. And once a year, have a check-up with your doctor, gynaecologist or midwife.
Pass it on
Sometimes the most meaningful gesture this month is simply a message. Send this little reminder to a woman you love.
